We have adopted Children’s Miracle Network because the funds raised help each local community by supporting the local children’s hospital. More importantly, we embrace Children’s Miracle Network and hospitals, like Riley Hospital, because these funds help our greatest legacy, our children.
“There is no better way to make a positive difference in the lives of our Indiana customers and communities than by contributing to an organization like Riley that gives so many people hope for the future. People like the many Hoosier parents and families facing untold anguish and fear in the face of a child critically injured by accident. People like our friends and customers looking for hope when their children are facing a terrible illness. People like one of our own employee families, the Blomquists, whose son, James, was in Riley Hospital 20 years ago with life-threatening complications immediately following his birth.
“We donate to Riley Hospital because it is one of the premier children’s hospitals in the nation…because it houses the only pediatric burn unit in Indiana…because it has caring and compassion for sick children. We donate because today James Blomquist is a strapping 20-year-old with career interests in law enforcement. We donate because giving hope to others and making the future a better place, is the right thing for all of us to do.”
