Riley Cancer Center Prom

On May 4, 2012, Riley oncology patients were taken to a world of pure imagination at the Riley Cancer Center Prom. The fun-filled journey to the Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory-themed celebration began on April 12 and 13 at Promingdales, where they picked their perfect ensemble.

Over 1,000 donated dresses, tuxedos, shoes, purses, jewelry and other accessories lined the shelves of the whimsical department store known as Promingdales. On May 4th, over 350 Riley Hospital patients and family members attended Riley Prom. With Riley Cancer Center staff and volunteers, attendance was around 400 people. Some prom-goers even elected to attend Riley Day Spa for complimentary hair, make-up and manicure appointments.
