Riley Red Wagons

The Riley red wagon is a symbol that represents the family-centered care provided at Riley Hospital for Children. Red wagons are used at Riley Hospital to help families easily and conveniently navigate the hospital. Equally important, the wagons offer children a fun diversion from what can sometimes be a stressful time.

Each wagon is specially ordered from the manufacturer to ensure that they are safe for their important passengers. In the interest of patient safety, the hospital cannot accept the donation of wagons.

However, for a gift of $1,000, a “license plate” acknowledging your gift will be attached to the back of a wagon. You can choose whether a plate reading “Donated by…” or “In honor of…”  is produced. As new wagons are purchased and placed into circulation, donors’ plates will be used in the order in which gifts are received. Your plate stays with the wagon for the duration of its circulation at the hospital.
