Women for Riley
Women for Riley is an organization of women who are committed to putting their annual gifts and volunteer talents to use in order to make a difference in the lives of Riley children and their families.
To provide for the health and well-being of children through support of the Riley Children’s Foundation and the work of Riley Hospital and Camp Riley.
To engage women who become ambassadors of Riley Hospital for Children and help raise awareness of the hospital and increase philanthropic support of its programs and services.
Women for Riley is a philanthropic group within the Riley Children’s Foundation. This group serves as donors, volunteers, and advocates for the children treated at Riley Hospital for Children and their families. Women for Riley members endorse the philosophy of family-centered care championed at Riley Hospital, and they look for opportunities to directly impact Riley patients and their families. Women for Riley has established its own grants program, which focuses on innovative projects that benefit a broad number of Riley patients and their families. The women also work closely with the staff of Child Life and Social Work to develop meaningful projects that allow members to personally support Riley children and their families. The signature project of Women for Riley is the Riley Cancer Center Prom.
