When Lily Garner from Camby celebrated her second birthday with an Elmo-themed party, guests were encouraged to bring donations for Riley Hospital – a tradition Lily’s grateful parents began with her first birthday. Thanks to her generous friends and family, this smiling birthday girl (whose parents call her their “dream baby”) helped raise close to $400 dollars for Riley Hospital.
It’s the Garner family’s way of saying “thank you” to the hospital that is helping Lily thrive in spite of a series of medical challenges including Down syndrome.
“The folks at Riley gave us so much hope during our darkest hour,” says Lily’s mother, Stephanie. “If our small gift can bring hope and relief to even one suffering child and their family, then we have made a difference!”
It’s simple for you to make a gift in honor or in memory of someone who is special to you.
Look for the “Tribute Information” section of our online donation form and indicate the name of the person you would like to honor with your gift.
We will ask you to provide the address of the honoree or their family so we can notify them of your gift, however, the amount will remain confidential.
