BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (November 17, 2013) – Today more than 3,000 students who participated in the 23rd annual Indiana University Dance Marathon (IUDM) are celebrating a record $2,622,123.21 million donation to Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health. The November 15-17 36-hour no sitting, no sleeping event has now raised more than $16.5 million for the Ryan White Infectious Disease Center at Riley Hospital.

“Surpassing $2.6 million for the benefit of kids at Riley Hospital for Children is an incredible accomplishment. Dedication and selfless attitudes have prevailed for 23 years promoting a can-do attitude amongst all IUDM participants. IUDM is one of the most respected student organizations across the country. Our hearts of gratitude extend to the students who work diligently year-round to achieve this success,” said Jason Mueller, director of regional communications, Riley Children’s Foundation.
