MEDIA NIGHT: Sneak Peek at Third Annual “Reason to Dance, Reason for Hope”

In an exciting fundraiser for Riley Hospital for Children, eight celebrity dancers will compete to raise money for pediatric research and Child Life. Meet the celebrity dancers for the third annual “Reason to Dance, Reason for Hope” ballroom dance charity fundraiser modeled after “Dancing with the Stars.”

On February 13, each dancer will perform a full routine with their professional dance partner. Routines will be recorded for the Riley Children’s Choice Award, voted on by the kids at Riley Hospital for Children.

The winner of the Riley Children’s Choice Award will be announced at the Reason to Dance, Reason for Hope gala on March 10 at the Indiana Roof Ballroom. (See last year’s Riley Children’s Choice Award winning dance routine here.)

In addition to the celebrities you will meet their professional dance partners and Skylar Dobbins, a 6-year-old Riley kid diagnosed with leukemia in September 2014. Skylar completed her chemotherapy in December 2016. “We love Riley because they saved my kid’s life. They made us feel like cancer wasn’t scary even though it is,” says Jessica Rodriguez, Skylar’s mother. “The team at Riley Hospital is so knowledgeable, and we are forever grateful.”
