Elves in the Windows (and other Riley magic)
December 5, 2013

Sometimes, when you're a kid in a hospital during the holidays, you feel like you're missing out.
Sometimes, it can be hard to find your smile.
But sometimes, something magical happens.
Like a trio of elves dangling outside your window as they make a 10-story descent down the side of your hospital building.
Palm to palm, through the glass, you show them how happy you are that they took a break from their busy schedule to make this special trip.
Santa arrives with gifts. Your parents and nurses and doctors smile, take pictures and wipe away a few tears.
And you realize that, while this isn't where you most want to be right now, this is a very special place.
This is Riley.
There is magic here.
The Gift of Hope Happens Here campaign offers you a chance to make a difference for Riley kids this holiday season. Kroger is matching your gifts, so you can make twice the impact. Click here to learn more or make a gift today.
