Lucy Hot Chocolate Stand

Lights, carols, hot cocoa, fuzzy blankets and warm socks are just a few things that some of us think about as the holiday season begins. For some Riley kids and their families they will hear heart monitors beeping, they will get their vitals checked every half hour, or they will undergo another round of chemo.

This holiday season there are so many unique ways families and kids can support Riley to help make the holiday season brighter for patients. Throughout the years kids have hosted lemonade stands, bake sales, jewelry stands, and hot chocolate stands. These kids with big hearts donate their proceeds to Riley Children’s Foundation to support Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health.

Families can also set up their own fundraising pages to help raise more funds through events such as walk/runs, bowling tournaments and more. Megan Yates is our Community Fundraising Events Coordinator and would love to help you and your family set up a fundraiser for Riley. To start your fundraising page please visit rileykids.org/events.

We recently introduced Facebook fundraising and it is one of the easiest ways your family can support Riley.

Kids love helping Riley but they cannot do it alone. Your donations are used to support groundbreaking pediatric research, patient programs that need additional funding, Riley Maternity and Newborn Health and Family Support programs such as Child Life and Social Work. Every gift helps. All individual gifts before midnight December 31, 2019, will be doubled by French Lick Resort.  Donate today at BeTheHopeNOW.org.
