Hope happens every time a child is helped by Riley Hospital for Children. One of those children is Emily Brant from LaPorte, Ind. Now that The Gift of Hope Happens Here holiday season giving program is underway for Riley, it’s our pleasure to introduce you to this caring little girl who has served as one of this year’s Riley Holiday Card and Ornament artists.

Q: Can you tell us a bit about yourself and how Riley Hospital has helped you?
A: My name is Emily, I am 4 years old. I go to Riley Elementary pre-school in LaPorte, Indiana. I like to color, ride my bike, play with my dolls, watch movies with my sister, and help mommy.  Riley Hospital saved my life when I was a baby.

Q: Can you describe the artwork you created for the Riley Holiday Cards and Ornaments?
A: My card and ornament is a rainbow candy cane.

Q: Why is it important to you to encourage people to donate to Riley Hospital?
A: People should donate to Riley to help other kids feel better

Q: What’s your wish for Riley this holiday season?
A: That other kids get better too and aren't sick anymore.

Q: What is your message to people who donate to Riley?
A: Thank you!
